Croxteth creatives

As part of our enrichment offer here at Dixons Croxteth our Croxteth Creatives developed their skills and soon became origami experts!!

Sessions were spent developing their skills to create precisely crafted objects starting with chatterboxes, heart and frogs. Our fabulous folders soon went onto tackle ambitious Christmas stars and Christmas trees made from recycled books under the instruction of their teacher Ms Palmieri.

I'm sure all will agree that the students were successful in their creations. They went on to sell their Christmas Tree Books and all the money raised was donated to the Anthony Walker Foundation demonstrating their community connectedness. The artists clearly demonstrated that charity is not just about giving money but about giving time and showing kindness sharing their creative ability to benefit others.

Ms Palmieri is so proud of all the students who took part and she is excited to see what they will produce next term!
