A celebration of creativity and community

Last week, Dixons Broadgreen Academy was filled with festive cheer as the Dixons collaborative Christmas concert brought together nearly 150 talented students from Dixons Broadgreen Academy, Dixons Croxteth Academy and Dixons Fazakerley Academy. The event was a great showcase of music, drama and dance, uniting our schools in a shared celebration of creativity and community.

Students from Years 7–11 delivered performances, ranging from choral arrangements and powerful drama pieces to captivating soloist performances on piano, strings and brass. The evening also featured energetic dance routines and original compositions, demonstrating the incredible breadth of talent across our schools.

This concert was more than just a festive event – it embodied the strength of our Dixons community. After rehearsing separately in their schools, students came together for a full day of joint rehearsals, culminating in an inspiring performance that reflected our trust's values.

Proceeds from ticket sales will support the arts across our schools, helping to nurture future talent and provide even more opportunities for students to shine.
